In the past year teaching online has allowed me to travel around Mexico, to Amsterdam, Spain, New York City, Italy, Morocco, Poland and I am currently in The Gambia, West Africa. Eventually, I found my way to a boarding school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The start was stressful because the school gave me no textbooks or curriculum. However, I relied heavily on the lesson-planning tricks I learned during my myTEFL training. I was able to create fun, interactive games that my students loved, despite having no supplies.
